Not for the faint of heart but you can indeed buy sake brewing kits and materials.  Here&#039;s a website that might help:

Key is to be careful not to get household molds growing in your Koji, this can ruin the flavor, and even make you sick.  Koji has a very specific odor and appearance so pay close attention to this phase!
